Scientific Instruments Manufacturer GmbH (SIM) is a mid-sized company based in Oberhausen, active since 1997 in the high-end field of gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry and process analytics. As a sales partner of Agilent Technologies, SIM configures customer-specific systems based on Agilent instruments and complements these with in-house developments such as the SIM HT column oven, the direct inlet system (DIP) for mass spectrometers from various manufacturers, injectors, PAL tools and connection technology. In addition to hardware, the portfolio includes software, gas management, automated sample preparation and solution analyzers, e.g. for MOSH/MOAH, microplastics or 3-MCPD analysis. As a full-service partner, SIM serves laboratories in pharmaceuticals, biomedicine, biotechnology, chemistry, petrochemistry, environmental and food analysis as well as water analysis and forensics. All services and systems are tested in the company's own application laboratory; quality, development and manufacturing comply with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
