About SCONRAIL
SCONRAIL (Swiss Conformity ON RAIL) is a conformity assessment and inspection body established in 2006 with a focus exclusively on the rail sector. The company, with around 100 rail experts, supports certification projects for railway vehicles and their components, for infrastructure, energy, and CCS subsystems, as well as for Maintenance (ECM). As a Notified Body for Interoperability NB 1991 and NB 2892, SCONRAIL creates NoBo Files, inspection reports, and EU-Type Certificates according to TSI; as a designated authorized body (DeBo) in Switzerland and a designated body in Germany, the company assesses subsystems according to NNTV. Furthermore, SCONRAIL GmbH acts as an ECM certification body according to Regulation (EU) 2019/779 for all four ECM functions.
