The scuddy Manufactory
Scuddy GmbH & Co. KG, based in Kiel, is a manufacturer of foldable electric scooters and electric mobility aids. The product range includes the 3-wheeled foldable electric scooter scuddy PREMIUM (V2), the four-wheeled mobility aid Premium QUAD with rigid rear axle, the foldable SlimV4, and the modular drive system Powertrain FBHM. The vehicles are manufactured with high in-house manufacturing depth at the company's own manufactory on the Kiel Canal ("made in Kiel") and can be individually configured. The offering is complemented by service and maintenance via service box shipping as well as leasing and B2B offers. In the R&D project FATiG, the company is developing, together with partners, a process for the indirect additive manufacturing of titanium components. Customers include private individuals as well as B2B customers such as AIDA Cruises, where all cruise ships were equipped with scuddy vehicles; sales run through the company's own channels and dealers in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.
