sd Hartstoff Technik GmbH, based in Jestetten (district of Waldshut, Baden-Württemberg), has specialized in ceramic materials technology for over 30 years. The company offers engineering, materials consulting and sales of custom products made of high-performance ceramics for industrial applications. Manufacturing covers complex, high-precision ceramic parts such as ceramic tubes, ceramic shafts, ceramic pistons, precision balls, cutting tools, welding rollers, ceramic bearings and wire guides. Materials include aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon nitride and silicon carbide; ceramic shafts are supplied in ground quality from Ø 2 mm in lengths up to 300 mm, precision balls in dimensions from Ø 0.80 to 60.00 mm (among others to DIN 5401). An extensive warehouse inventory of semi-finished products enables short-lead-time manufacturing of precision parts for prototypes and small series; series production to customer specifications is also offered. Customer industries range from pump manufacturing, electrical engineering, robotics and metrology/control technology to tool and mold making and furnace construction, as well as the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and biotechnology sectors. Delivery is worldwide.
