About SD GmbH
SD GmbH Klaus Hirsch has been developing and manufacturing highly complex tube formed parts for the automotive industry since 1986, and increasingly for energy technology. The product portfolio includes piping systems, transmission oil lines, guide tubes and roller axles, fuel lines as well as water pipes and refrigerant lines for applications such as sunroofs, auxiliary heaters, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, industrial engines and electric motors. Manufacturing is carried out with robotic and automated processes: CNC and free-form bending, axial forming, hydroforming, roll forming and swaging, as well as laser cutting, laser welding and laser marking. These processes are complemented by joining techniques such as MIG/MAG brazing, welding and induction brazing, plus tube assembly. In-house tool and special machine construction and the design of complete systems are part of the value chain. With around 170 employees and locations in Türkheim/Irsingen, Neubrandenburg and Bačka Palanka (Serbia), the company supplies manufacturers in Europe, the USA and Asia. The water- and refrigerant-carrying tubes for heat pumps are manufactured highly automated in large series, are approved for the latest refrigerant generations and, on request in accordance with DVGW, suitable for drinking water installations. SD GmbH was awarded the TOP 100 seal for innovation strength in the German Mittelstand.
