SDG Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business from Eitorf specialising in the machining of engineering plastics. The company manufactures turned parts and milled parts to customer drawings from materials including PA, POM, PE, PVC, PP, PVDF, PEEK, PET and PTFE as well as PC, PMMA, ABS, hard fabric and hard paper. The manufacturing spectrum includes CNC turning with up to twelve lathes (bar and chuck work), CNC milling in 3-axis and 5-axis versions, as well as sawing, planing, bonding, bending and welding of plastics. In addition, the company offers a cut-to-size service for semi-finished products from its own warehouse, assembly services, marking and application engineering consulting. Customers come, among others, from mechanical engineering, elevator technology, the food industry, drive and conveying technology and construction machinery. Production ranges from prototypes and pilot series through to large-scale series, from lot size 1, on 1500 m² of production space at the Eitorf headquarters.

History
- 1998
Founded by Saverio Di Giuseppe in May 1998; started in a leased former toolmaking shop of an injection moulding company on 120 m² with conventional machine tools.
- 1999
Expansion of production space to 250 m²; investment in the first CNC machining center and the first CNC lathe.
Growth into a family business: 30 employees on 1500 m² of shop floor space; establishment of an own warehouse and a joinery workshop; further expansions planned.
