About SealEx
SealEx GmbH, based in Kaiseraugst in the canton of Aargau, is a mid-sized company in sealing technology. Its core competence is the processing and application of foamed gaskets using the FIPFG process (formed in-place foam gaskets): a liquid or thixotropic, pasty sealing compound is homogenized in a conditioning machine and applied three-dimensionally as a gasket bead onto the component geometry by manufacturing robots, after which the fast-curing material crosslinks. The resulting closed-cell, fine-cell foam gaskets guarantee tightness against moisture, dust and dirt as well as sound dampening in the sense of Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH). Work is performed on plastic and sheet metal parts, which are also machined in-house; concept development and fixture construction are carried out by SealEx itself. Customers come from building services/ventilation technology, the automotive industry, electrical engineering, lighting, filter technology, pump construction, sanitary engineering, household appliances as well as mechanical and apparatus engineering. Series production is possible in any lot sizes, with no investment costs for equipment and devices on the customer side.
