About SEAMTEC
SEAMTEC is a mechatronics and software company specialized in automation and cloud technology, based in Altenfelden (Upper Austria). The company develops and implements PLC controls, boiler controls for biomass plants, grid regulation with peak load coverage, as well as control and supervisory systems for hydropower plants. With the web-based SCADA solution developed since 2013 and further developed into SEAMTEC cloud in 2021, technical plants are centrally visualized, remotely monitored and remotely controlled; the data resides in an owned, ISO 27001 certified data center in Austria. The portfolio also includes electrical planning, circuit diagram creation, control and power cabinets, embedded Linux hardware development, web applications, remote maintenance, efficiency measurements and vibration analyses. Since its founding in 2009, over 100 power plant installations have been implemented in around 15 countries; customers come from biomass/district heating, hydropower, industry, steel, refrigeration and automotive sectors.
