About Seawork
Seawork Fish Processors (Pty) Ltd is a Namibian sea fishing and processing company based in Walvis Bay. The company specializes in catching, further processing and marketing frozen seafood products for the international market. The main product lines are based on the catching and processing of hake (Merluccius capensis / Merluccius paradoxus); bycatch, predominantly kingklip (Genypterus capensis) and monkfish (Lophius vomerinus), is also processed. All processing takes place in two modern, well-equipped and EU-certified facilities with a total area of approximately 17,000 m². The workforce comprises around 1,800 full-time employees in Namibia; fishing is carried out with an own fleet of EU-compliant wetfish trawlers. Processing is done by hand-filleting with the aim of minimizing waste and optimizing yield; flexible packaging options (including IQF, IWP, IPB, IVP, Shatterpack, Glazing) cover industry-specific requirements. Seawork supplies markets in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, China, the USA and southern Africa.

Quality
Quality assurance is based on a HACCP system that is audited annually by the Namibian Standards Institution (NSI); in addition, an IFS Food Assessment is carried out (with a few product-specific exceptions). Fleet, factories, ice plant and cold store are EU-compliant certified; processing is done by hand, preservation with modern freezing facilities.
