What Sedeco Imaging does
Sedeco Imaging is a machine vision provider that supplies and integrates industrial cameras, lenses, LED lighting and vision software for inspection, reproducible measurement, code reading, AI-based defect detection and robot guidance. The name stands for the working approach: Selecting (the right components for product, speed and environment), Detecting (defects, codes, classes and dimensions with classical computer vision and AI) and Controlling (feeding results back to the PLC, robot and machine control). The portfolio includes area-scan and line-scan cameras, smart cameras, code readers, 3D cameras, fixed-focal-length and telecentric lenses as well as lighting geometries from ring and bar to tunnel light, among others from the Hikrobot brand. Offered are a six-stage feasibility test with real product samples and boundary parts, as well as support with mounting, configuration, calibration and connection to PLCs and machine communication (including Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET). Customers are machine builders and OEMs, manufacturing industry and system integrators, with fields of application such as packaging, sorting, recycling and logistics. Sedeco Imaging is present with two offices in Woerden (Netherlands, Benelux) and Gotha (Germany, DACH).
