The Company

Seeger Präzisionsdrehteile GmbH has been manufacturing precision turned parts since 1981 and today employs around 150 staff; the company is family-owned, in its second generation since 2011. At the Salem-Neufrach site, around 70 million parts per year are produced from stainless steel, free-cutting steel, brass and aluminium on 81 sliding-headstock and 44 fixed-headstock lathes in three-shift operation. The focus is on components for electromagnets and solenoid valves used in passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial hydraulics; component diameters range from 3 to 42 mm with lot sizes between 500 and 5,000,000 pieces. In addition to turning, the company offers milling, thread rolling, vibratory finishing, friction welding, electropolishing, parts cleaning and manual and automated assembly of assemblies. All parts undergo 100% final dimensional and/or visual inspection; the company has been certified to DIN ISO 9001 since 2001.
