Seffer Schilder is a family-run company from Peine that has been producing signs, laser labelling and engravings for industry, B2B, retail and trade since 1982. The portfolio includes type plates, indicator signs, cable markers, device identification plates, front panels, inlay signs, washer signs, blanks and tool tags, company signs, QR code signs as well as scales – each fully labelled according to customer specifications. Labelling is done by laser engraving or CNC engraving; materials used include Resopal, plastic, PVC, Plexiglas (PMMA), films, aluminium, stainless steel, brass and copper. Pre-punched inlay signs and washer signs from well-known manufacturers such as Siemens, Eaton, Kraus & Naimer, Telemecanique and ABB are also labelled. Blanks are manufactured in diameters from 20 to 120 mm, with holes or self-adhesive. In 2020, the company moved into a new company building with expanded office and production space at the Ammerweg 19 site in Peine.

Scratch-resistant labelling of signs made from almost all materials, from one-off pieces to large-scale series.
CNC engraving
Engraved labelling of e.g. aluminium, stainless steel and plastic signs to individual dimensions.
Resopal
Robust, flame-retardant and electrically insulating material, used mainly for fire alarm signs indoors.
PVC
Lightweight, flexible plastic for indoor areas, material thicknesses 0.8–2.5 mm.
Plexiglas (acrylic glass)
Light-transmitting, UV-stable and shatter-resistant glass-replacing material for high-quality signs.
Aluminium
Weather- and temperature-resistant from −40 °C to +100 °C, suitable for type plates and industrial signs indoors and outdoors.
Stainless steel (rust-free)
UV-stable and weather-resistant, mill-finished or brushed, in thicknesses from 1.0 to 3.0 mm.
Brass
High-quality appearance, available glossy or mill-finished, primarily for indoor use.
Copper
