About SEG Electronics

SEG Electronics GmbH develops and produces intelligent protection devices for power generation and distribution. The portfolio comprises numerical multifunction relays, self-powered relays that draw their energy requirement from the measured signals, as well as monitoring relays for low-voltage applications. The products protect generators, transformers, motors, cables, overhead lines and busbars and comply with ANSI and IEC standards as well as grid connection codes such as G99 and IEEE 1547. In addition to standard products, the company offers custom developments, a product configurator, the SmartView parameterization and analysis software, as well as commissioning and training support. The sales and service structure is positioned worldwide through an international network of distributors and Integrated Solutions Providers. Headquarters and factory are located in Kempen in the Rhineland; the company has been active in the field of protection technology for more than 55 years and has been part of the Arteche Group since 2026.
