About SEKELS
SEKELS GmbH is a specialist for magnetic fields, magnetic materials, magnet systems and magnetic shielding – from consulting to the delivery of finished components and systems. The company calculates, develops and manufactures shields and shielding systems against low-frequency magnetic fields, including heat treatment and magnetic testing. From extensive stockholding of NiFe and CoFe alloys (80 % NiFe, 50 % NiFe, 50 % CoFe, 3 % SiFe) in various dimensions, the company performs conversion and parts manufacturing, as well as the production of core laminations and lamination stacks in standard and special dimensions. Toroidal tape cores and cut tape cores are made from nanocrystalline (VITROPERM®), amorphous (VITROVAC®, METGLAS®) and crystalline alloys. Modern hydrogen furnaces enable the magnetic final heat treatment as well as soft annealing of stainless steels. The portfolio is complemented by the design of magnet systems (prototype and series), measurement of the shielding factor in Helmholtz coils up to 2 m in diameter, on-site magnetic field measurements, the in-house developed MFA-110 measuring system, and the distribution of products from VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG. Customers include companies from electromobility, life sciences/microtechnology as well as research and diagnostics.
