About Sektkellerei Deidesheim
Sektkellerei Deidesheim was founded in 1957 and is the first and oldest sparkling wine cellar in Deidesheim. The company produces Sekt and semi-sparkling wine (Perlwein) from its own base wines, using Riesling and Chardonnay grapes from its own vineyards on the Mittelhaardt. The range includes cuvée sparkling wines and varietal sparkling wines made from Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer as well as the specialty Weisser Heunisch, all matured using the classic bottle fermentation method. In addition to selling its own products through the online shop, the cellar offers services: contract sparkling wine production using the traditional bottle fermentation method from 400 liters or as tank-fermented sparkling wine from 3000 liters, contract disgorging including riddling, private-label sparkling wines, and a labeling service for special occasions. The company is BIO-certified and based in Deidesheim on the German Wine Route in the Palatinate.
