About SELECT
SELECT GmbH, based in Hartmannsdorf near Chemnitz, develops and manufactures opto-electronic sorting machines for quality sorting of food. It started in 1990 with the development of a machine for quality sorting of potatoes (AGROSELECTOR®); today the portfolio includes the machine series AGROSELECTOR® arcus®, AGROSELECTOR® twin arcus®, Cinderella® and InLine keen eye®. All development steps, from design through mechanics, electronics and software to service, take place under one roof at the Hartmannsdorf site. The machines sort potatoes and vegetables, convenience food such as fries and chips, seafood, meat and sausage, as well as other products such as animal feed. The metal parts are made of stainless steel, all machine-adjacent plastic parts are alkali-resistant; food safety complies with EC 1935/2004. Services include product tests with the SCANSPECTOR mobile, training, remote service and the refurbishment of used sorting machines.
