About us

The SeniorenZentrum “An den Salinen” in Bad Westernkotten (Soest district) has operated a full-time residential care facility with a house-community concept in the immediate vicinity of the spa park since 2007. More than 110 employees from nursing, care, housekeeping, administration and building services support older people in a barrier-free building equipped with modern care beds and work-assisting aids. The range of services includes full-time residential care, short-term care and assisted/service living. Since 2016, the day care centre “An den Salinen”, attached to the centre, has complemented the offering; in 2026, the second day care facility “Am Westerntor” was opened in the basement of the Service Living Westerntor-Haus. The facility includes a 2,500-square-metre garden with wheelchair-accessible pathways (sensory garden). The operation consistently aligns care and support with the individual wishes, needs and abilities of the residents.
