Sensocon GmbH, based in Mannheim, has been offering manufacturer-independent products and know-how in the fields of sensor technology, metrology and measurement data processing since 2008. The portfolio includes sensors for acceleration, torque, pressure, force, inclination, vibration and displacement, as well as displays, handhelds, measuring amplifiers, A/D converters and measurement data acquisition. Since 2009, the company has been the exclusive representative in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the US manufacturer FUTEK Inc., whose miniature force, torque and pressure sensors are based on piezoresistive metal-foil strain gauge technology. The range of services includes project consulting, support, the assembly of complete, calibrated measuring chains, and calibration in accordance with ISO 9001 / ISO 17025. In addition, Sensocon offers condition monitoring with mobile and stationary measurements of oscillations and vibrations. The products are used in, among other fields, automotive, aerospace, rail transport, medicine, mechanical engineering/robotics, Industry 4.0 as well as research and development.
