Sensorik-Bayern GmbH is a research partner and development service provider based in Regensburg. It develops custom electronics using state-of-the-art sensors and system-on-a-chip solutions, as well as application-specific sensor systems, firmware, and cloud and edge applications. Its range of services includes electronics design and layout including BGA technology, software architectures with a focus on the NORDIC ecosystem, simulation and modelling (optics, heat conduction, electromagnetic fields, forces/deformation, circuit simulation) as well as sensor principles based on optics, acoustics, microsystem technology, radar and impedance spectroscopy. For small and medium-sized enterprises, the team realizes electronics hardware, firmware and prototype series as well as the miniaturization of existing systems; it supports the development departments of large companies from concept to pre-series production. With the SensorBeaconSystem, the company offers an IIoT development platform for easy integration into existing systems. The GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Strategische Partnerschaft Sensorik e.V., the regional network of the Bavarian sensor technology industry.
