SERDAR PLASTIK (brand SERKO) is a Turkish manufacturer of plastic injection-moulded products and electromechanical components, founded in 1973 and headquartered in Sincan, Ankara. The company designs and manufactures components, products and injection moulding tools – from work lights, beacon lights, headlights and switches to flow sensors, signal transmitters and interior lighting. Development is carried out using CAD-CAM-CAE tools such as Unigraphics, Work NC, CadMold, Moldex, Lucidshape, Optis and SPEOS, complemented by co-engineering with customers as well as R&D cooperations with universities, polymer manufacturers, machine builders and homologation institutes. Thermoplastics and engineering plastics are processed in robot-assisted, fully automated and lean production for small and large series. Customer industries include off-road and agricultural vehicles, thermal engineering, household appliances, automotive, brake systems, telecommunications, electronics, cosmetics-medical as well as defence, aviation and aerospace (brand SERKO Defence). Through its own sales offices in Taunusstein (SERKO GmbH) and Chicago (SERKO USA), the company supplies more than 65 countries worldwide with 550+ employees.
