About Stamisol / Serge Ferrari AG
Serge Ferrari AG, headquartered in Eglisau, Switzerland, is part of the Serge Ferrari Group founded in 1973 and manufactures high-quality façade and roofing membranes under the Stamisol brand. At the Eglisau site, diffusion-open, waterproof underlay membranes such as Stamisol DW as well as façade membranes for ventilated constructions are produced – including Stamisol Safe One, the first façade membrane in Euroclass A2-s1,d0 based on glass fibre fabric with elastomer coating. The polyester threads for the mesh fabric come from the sister company Tersuisse in Emmenbrücke. The Group covers all production processes from research and development through spinning, weaving and coating to logistics. Stamisol products are used in building construction, roofing and membrane construction, especially in high-rise and high-risk buildings such as residential blocks, hospitals, care homes and schools. Well-known projects include the Olympic Stadium and Aquatics Centre in London as well as Hammersmith Town Hall.

Materials and Processes
Glass fibre fabric / glass fibre mesh fabric
Non-combustible textile base fabric of the Stamisol Safe One façade membrane for the highest fire protection requirements.
Elastomer coating
Vulcanised 3D network structure with mineral fillers ensures Euroclass A2-s1,d0, watertightness W1 and flexibility.
Polyester threads / mesh fabric
Polyester fibres produced in Emmenbrücke form the carrier fabric of the underlay and façade membranes.
Silicone coating
Surface coating for water protection of the façade membranes.
Microperforated PE films
Component of early underlay membranes and the starting point for the development of Stamisol DW.
Bitumen
Material of vapour barriers in connection systems with Stamisol membranes.
