About Setec Maschinenbau

Setec Maschinenbau GmbH is a second-generation family business on the Swabian Alb in Münsingen, founded in 1978 by Dipl. Ing. Wolfgang Seidel. The focus of the product portfolio is on special machines for handling and cutting all flexible, non-rigid materials. The portfolio includes roll storage systems (Setec Robby) with up to 16.000 rolls, spreading machines, feeders, labelers, cutters of the LC series as well as fabric spreading tables and conveyor belts. In addition to classic textile fabrics and cloths, technical textiles have come to the fore: from bulletproof vests to biogas membranes and carbon and glass fibers. With in-house electronics, software, manufacturing and design departments, automation solutions are implemented in a practical manner. Production takes place on a site of around 21.000 m² with 8.400 m² of covered area; since 2018 the company has covered its electricity needs through its own solar production.
