SEW-EURODRIVE Austria is the Austrian national subsidiary of the SEW-EURODRIVE Group, one of the world's leading specialists in drive technology. The portfolio comprises gearmotors, frequency inverters, drive automation and decentralized drive technology for conveying and logistics systems. Based in Vienna, the company serves customers in Austria and additionally operates sales and service functions; a new Drive Technology Center in St. Florian is under construction and will serve as a competence center for industrial geared motors, service, automation and technical training. Since November 2023, SEW-EURODRIVE Austria has also been serving the Slovenian market directly with a Technical Office in Celje. The service offering ranges from commissioning and maintenance to 24-hour service, technical training, online support and product configurators. The Group employs more than 20,000 people, is active in 52 countries and maintains 17 production plants and 88 Drive Technology Centers.

Since 01.11.2023, SEW-EURODRIVE Austria has been serving the Slovenian market directly, after the partner company Pakman Pogonska Tehnika d.o.o. (Celje, owner Jure Trofenik) was dissolved following 25 years of cooperation.
