About SGS Antriebselemente
SGS Antriebselemente Vertriebs-GmbH, based in Freilassing, has been supplying drive technology since 1978. The product range includes drive elements such as sprockets, roller chains, spur gears, gear racks, bevel gears, timing belt pulleys, timing belts and taper lock bushings in unfinished form as well as ready-to-install machined to drawing, digital data or sample. Since the 1990s, the company has machined imported drive parts into ready-to-install components. In its own production, since 2006 turned parts and milled parts have been manufactured as single parts, custom-made items and in medium volumes, including assembly-ready complete assemblies made from almost all machinable materials. With in-house 5-axis machining, prototype construction for mechanical engineering, and design and machine programming with SolidCAM and SolidWorks, SGS serves customers from mechanical engineering, drive technology and forestry technology, including spare parts to fit Clark, Allied Ranger and Timber Jack.

- 1978
Founding of SGS Antriebselemente Vertriebs-GmbH by Dr. Christoph Gassner from Salzburg; co-founders are three Italian partner companies specialized in the manufacture and distribution of drive technology.
- 1990
Relocation of production facilities to the Far East; SGS offers additional services such as machining imported drive parts into ready-to-install components.
