Shantou Goworld Display Germany GmbH, based in Dettingen unter Teck, is the German subsidiary of China's Shantou Goworld Display Co., Ltd. and serves the European market as a sales and service location. Since 1999 the company has been developing and manufacturing custom display solutions: passive LCDs (segment, character and graphic displays), TFT displays (TN and IPS types) with backlights, and multi-touch PCAP touch panels including one-glass solutions and cover lenses. Production takes place at the Goworld Industry Park in Shantou (Guangdong), China, with around 68,000 m² of production space in two Class 100 cleanroom facilities and a capacity of 350,000 m² per year. The service portfolio covers design and development, manufacturing, integration (COG, COB, SMT), bonding (OCA, OCR), film lamination, packaging according to customer requirements, as well as procurement, logistics and EOL management for discontinued components – all from a single source. Target industries are particularly in the field of embedded electronics, e.g. with applications for automotive and household appliances.
