About Shell Recharge Solutions

Shell Recharge Solutions is the charging solutions provider of the Shell Group for electric mobility and emerged in 2022 from the renaming of NewMotion (Netherlands) and the US company Greenlots. The offering comprises hardware and software solutions for charging at home and at the workplace, including wallboxes with 11–22 kW charging power (e.g. Home Advanced or Flex Advanced) with automatic electricity cost reimbursement for company car drivers. In addition, the company operates the public Shell Recharge roaming charging network with access to more than 900,000 public charging points in Europe, which is also offered as a white-label solution for third-party customers. Further services include charging solutions for fleets as well as load management and storage solutions. Customers and partners include LeasePlan, BMW and Aldi, among others. Shell Recharge Solutions is active in Europe, North America and Asia; leadership in Europe is the responsibility of Melanie Lane (CEO Europe), and Roger Hunter leads Shell's electric mobility activities (Vice President Shell Electric Mobility).
