SHERPA Autodiagnostik GmbH, based in Ampfing, has been active in the field of vehicle autodiagnostics for around 30 years and develops and manufactures test stands and vehicle lifts for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and agricultural machinery. The portfolio includes roller brake testers, platform brake testers, test lanes, ball joint play testers, alignment plates, axle suspension testers, scissor lifts, headlight adjustment testers, mobile test devices and exhaust gas analysis equipment. The mechanics, hardware, electronics and software of the devices are fully developed in-house at the Ampfing site. The products are used as workshop and inspection equipment for the periodic technical inspection (PTI), including for the main inspection pursuant to § 29 StVZO. Customers include inspection and monitoring organisations such as TÜV NORD, DEKRA and KÜS as well as workshops, dealers and OEMs. The products are sold in more than 60 countries; the company is part of the STENHØJ / NEXION Group.
