About ShibataFenderTeam

ShibataFenderTeam is a specialized provider of safety-critical fender systems that protect people, vessels and port infrastructure. The company offers custom solutions made from high-quality rubber fenders and manufactures all main components in-house to ensure quality and reliability. The range of services includes application consulting by in-house sales engineers, design consulting, detail engineering, manufacturing, testing according to industry standards as well as commissioning support and after-sales support over the entire life cycle of the system. All products are designed, manufactured and tested according to the PIANC guidelines; the product catalog is aligned with the PIANC Fender Guidelines 2024 (WG211). Materials are rubber, steel, polyurethane and polyethylene. Reference projects include the Port of Sept-Îles (Canada), the Port of Lumut (Malaysia) and the Sjællands Odde ferry terminal (Denmark). With the Carbon Footprint Assessment, the company provides product-specific CO2 emissions data for each engineered fender system on request.
