About Shiseido Germany
SHISEIDO GERMANY GmbH, based in Düsseldorf, is the German sales company of the cosmetics company Shiseido, founded in 1872 in Tokyo. The range includes skincare (including the serums and cream lines Ultimune, Benefiance, Vital Perfection and Future Solution LX), make-up such as foundations and concealers, fragrances, sun protection products as well as men's lines. Shiseido originated as the first Western-style pharmacy in the Ginza district of Tokyo and, according to its own statements, combines Eastern philosophy with Western science. Product development is based on the company's own research into skin immunity, including since 1989 in cooperation with the Cutaneous Biology Research Center (CBRC) with Harvard Medical University and Massachusetts General Hospital. SHISEIDO GERMANY GmbH distributes the products via its own online shop with delivery to Germany and Austria as well as via customer service with advisory tools such as the Serum Finder and Foundation Finder.
