About SI Coatings
SI Coatings GmbH develops and produces tailor-made paints, coating materials, adhesion promoters and adhesives in Wuppertal for industry and industrial trade. The portfolio includes hot-seal coatings and plastic adhesion promoters for thermoplastics and thermosets, rubber-to-metal adhesion promoters (vulcanization adhesion promoters), coil-coating paints with a color mixing system for coil coaters, industrial paints and technical coatings with functional properties such as electrical conductivity, abrasion resistance, sliding properties or temperature resistance. Individual formulations are developed in the in-house laboratory; contract manufacturing covers mixing, grinding, dispersing and filtering in batches of 25 to 1,500 kg. Customer industries include, among others, the automotive, construction, packaging and electronics industries as well as aerospace, medical and food processing. Founded in 2006 as an independent company out of the HUEHOCO Group, the company has been working with technical and functional coating materials since 1970 based on the group's history, and supplies international customers from Germany; a site in Dongguan (China) handles import and support. As of February 1, 2025, a production and warehouse building of approx. 6,000 m² in Wuppertal-Langerfeld was acquired.

An integrated quality management system according to IATF 16949, DIN ISO 9001, DIN ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is continuously audited; in addition, an EcoVadis rating is performed. The in-house testing laboratory conducts corrosion tests (salt spray test, condensation water test, VDA climate change test, PV 1200), adhesion and wear tests, coating thickness measurement, X-ray metal analysis, ATR and colorimetric measurements.
