Fuses are our passion

SIBA GmbH is a family-owned manufacturer of fuses, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Lünen. The company develops and manufactures low-voltage fuses (NH), high-voltage fuses (HH), ULTRA rapid® semiconductor protection fuses, device protection fuses and special-purpose fuses, as well as accessories such as fuse holders, bases and indicator systems – more than 10,000 product variants available for delivery in total. Manufacturing is characterized by high vertical integration and a largely integrated value chain with in-house special machinery construction. Materials used include fine silver for fuse elements, copper for contacts, electroporcelain, thermally conductive special ceramics, glass-fiber-reinforced plastic and quartz sand as arc-quenching filler. Customers come from power generation and distribution, renewable energies, battery storage systems, rail technology, smart grids, power electronics, industrial automation and other industries. With more than 500 employees at the Lünen production site, subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and the USA, and sales partners in more than 40 countries, SIBA supplies customers worldwide.
