About SIDSA
SID SA (Société Industrielle de la Doux), or SIDSA for short, was founded in 1972 and specialises in solutions for waste pretreatment. The company develops and manufactures shredding systems such as Primary, 2-Shaft, 4-Shaft, Fine and RHS Shredders as well as sorting and conveying technology including Disc Screens, Air Separators, Belt Conveyors and Solid Pumps. As a pioneer of the SMP system (Shredding-Mixing-Pumping) for processing hazardous waste, SID has realised more than 1'000 projects worldwide and sold more than 120 SMP systems. The systems are used, among other things, in waste management, for biomass and refuse-derived fuels (RDF), in cement plants, in the petrochemical/pharmaceutical industries and for lithium batteries. The company operates research and production sites in Switzerland, Germany, China and India and offers services ranging from system design and manufacturing to operational after-sales support.
