About SIEB & MEYER
SIEB & MEYER AG was founded in 1962 by the engineers Reinhard Sieb and Johannes Meyer and is an industrial electronics company with around 450 employees worldwide. The company develops and manufactures control technology and drive electronics in Lüneburg, including frequency converters for high-speed motors and generators (rotating-field frequencies up to 8,000 Hz, speeds up to 480,000 rpm), servo amplifiers for highly dynamic applications as well as CNC controls and motion controllers for the mechanical machining of printed circuit boards (drilling, milling, scoring/routing). Its services include electronics manufacturing from prototype to high-volume production (incl. AOI/ICT testing) as well as an in-house mechanical manufacturing operation for aluminium and sheet metal parts. More than 70 employees work in research and development on control engineering, power electronics, FPGA and firmware programming. Customers come from machine tool building, printed circuit board manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, turbo compressor technology, special-purpose machine building, refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, and the semiconductor industry. Subsidiaries in Taoyuan (Taiwan) and Shenzhen (China) ensure sales and service in Asia; international representations cover Europe, North America, and Asia.
