Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA is an internationally active manufacturer of printing inks and printing varnishes headquartered in Siegburg. The family-owned company, now in its seventh generation, produces inks, varnishes and coatings for applications such as flexible packaging, sheetfed offset & UV, paper & board, tobacco packaging, labels, beverage packaging, publication gravure and digital printing. For flexible plastic packaging, the company offers nitrocellulose-free (NC-free) inks that support the recyclability of the packaging. The group's annual production is approximately 250,000 tonnes, half of which is produced at the headquarters in Siegburg. In addition to its products, Siegwerk offers COLORWERK, a service and solutions program for color optimization in printing, as well as digital services and consulting on product safety and regulation. The group employs around 4,900 people in 36 country subsidiaries and generated revenue of €1.185 billion.
