Sielaff GmbH & Co. KG Automatenbau Herrieden has been developing, manufacturing and assembling vending machines and return systems since 1886. The product range comprises hot and cold beverage machines, combi/spiral machines for snacks and food, outdoor and public machines as well as return systems for single-use and reusable containers, divided into the SiLine, SiVend and Siamonie lines. Value creation takes place predominantly in-house manufacturing: conception, development, production and assembly all come from a single source. Production in metal technology involves joining, machining and forming; housings are made of steel with RAL paint finishes as well as stainless steel. Refrigeration units operate with the refrigerant R-290, security technology and camera-based container recognition (Omega 360°) are integral parts of the return systems. Customers come from retail, workplace catering, gastronomy, hotels, as well as railway stations, airports and leisure facilities. Manufacturing takes place at the headquarters in Herrieden and in Oelsnitz/Erzgebirge; an IT systems house in Ilmenau develops software for dispensing and return systems including telemetry. Sales and service locations exist in Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Poland and Portugal.

Production is subject to ISO certification as quality control of all processes in manufacturing. For return systems, software-based and mechanical anti-tampering safeguards are certified in accordance with DPG requirements.
