Siempelkamp Energy & Drying Solutions GmbH (formerly Büttner Energie- und Trocknungstechnik GmbH) is a supplier of complete systems in the field of heat generation and drying technology. Founded in Krefeld in 1874, the company develops, manufactures, installs and operates drying systems such as directly and indirectly heated drum dryers, tube bundle dryers, flash tube dryers and belt dryers as well as energy systems including grate firing systems, steam generators, finned wall boilers and thermal oil heaters. The portfolio is complemented by combination and surface burners as well as environmental technology such as wet and dry electrostatic precipitators. Fields of application include wood-based materials (particleboard, OSB, MDF, insulation board), pellet production, mechanical and chemical pulp, animal feed, starch, biomass, bulk materials and the sugar industry. The range of services includes engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, drying trials, modernizations as well as after-sales, spare parts, remote and field service in 52 countries.
