History

1. 1994

   Founding of Siewert & Kau by Björn Siewert and the brothers Holger and Oliver Kau.

2. 2015

   Eight Competence Centers for consulting and training of specialist retailers.

3. 2016

   400 employees and revenue of €675 million.

4. 2020

   Opening of the Milan and Hamburg branches; relocation of the Lippstadt branch to Soest.

5. 2022

   Expansion of the logistics space in Bergheim by 23,000 m² to a total of 43,000 m² plus 2,500 m² of office space.

6. 2025

   Insolvency filing on 5 May 2025 at the Cologne Local Court (70k IN 179/25); cloud business goes to Wortmann AG.

7. 2025

   1 August: conclusion of the investor process and refounding as Siewert & Kau Technologies Vertriebs GmbH via an asset deal; official opening on 11 and 18 August, over 110 jobs secured.

8. 2026

   Participation at IFA (Hub 27, Stand H27G_03), sponsorship of "Summer in the City 2026" in Bergheim and a positive first financial year.
