SIK-Holzgestaltungs GmbH is an internationally active manufacturer of individual playground equipment and play structures made from naturally growing Robinia wood, based in Langenlipsdorf (Niedergörsdorf) in Brandenburg. Established in 1988, the company offers comprehensive services in one place: on-site consulting, playground planning, construction, production of playground equipment, as well as assembly, service, and maintenance. In addition to play structures, the portfolio includes rocking spring devices, sculptures, playhouses, sports and fitness equipment, climbing and balancing devices, swings and carousels, sand and water games, park furnishings, and DIY playground equipment. Additionally, themed custom orders, zoo experience areas, including playgrounds, and artistically designed sculptures are produced, also by apprentices in the sculpture trade. The equipment complies with standard EN 1176; the quality management system ISO 9001 is integrated into the business processes. With over 240 employees and more than 30 international partners, the company realizes projects for municipalities, kindergartens, and schools, housing associations, zoos, as well as tourism and camping, including clients such as DASA Dortmund and the housing association Bergedorf-Bille eG in Hamburg.
