About Sika Austria

Sika Austria is a specialty chemicals company and part of the international Sika Group with over 400 production sites in 103 countries. In Austria, Sika employs around 300 staff at two R&D and production sites. The Bludenz plant serves as an R&D center and competence center for mortars, with annual production of approx. 40,000 t of construction chemical products such as mortars, concrete admixtures, synthetic resins and PVC waterstops; around 70% of production is exported to Western, Central and Eastern Europe. In Innsbruck, as Sika's competence center for bitumen, approx. 9 million m² of bitumen sealing membranes are produced per year, with an export share of approx. 10% to Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. For industry, Sika also offers adhesives, sealants, high-performance resins (epoxy and polyurethane), composite resin systems, casting resins and coating solutions.
