About SILCONIC®
SILCONIC® is a manufacturer specialising in silicones, based in Lonsee near Ulm. The company formulates its own RTV-2 silicones (rubbers, gels, foams) up to customer-specific formulations and maintains more than 500 self-developed formulations. Production comprises LSR injection moulding for high to very high volumes, 2K injection moulding in combination with thermoplastic, metal, glass or silicone, HTV injection moulding, mould pressing processes (compression and transfer moulding), silicone extrusion, and PolyJet and FDM 3D printing for prototypes and production aids. An in-house CAD design department supports customers and start-ups from the idea through to the first series, complemented by in-house silicone mould making. Every batch produced is tested in the company's own test laboratory. Customer industries include dental, medical technology, food, babycare, consumer, automotive, electronics, sanitary, orthopaedics, love toys, arts & hobby, mould making, mechanical engineering, and solar & photovoltaics. SILCONIC emerged in 2018 from dent-e-con, a subsidiary founded in 2004 and a sales partner of Stratasys for dental 3D printing technologies since 2013.

Materials and Processes
Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR)
Low-viscosity, hot-vulcanising two-component silicone for injection-moulded parts in high to very high volumes.
HTV solid silicone rubber
Silicone elastomer with high temperature and ageing resistance, suitable for low to medium volumes and bulky products.
RTV-2 silicone (liquid and kneadable)
Room-temperature-vulcanising two-component silicones, customisable in viscosity, adhesion and resistance.
2K composites (silicone + thermoplastic/metal/glass/silicone)
Hard-soft composites with chemical or mechanical bonding, e.g. for automotive, electronics, sanitary and medical technology.
PolyJet photopolymers
For smooth, precise prototypes and production aids with accuracy down to 0.014 mm.
Own RTV-2 formulations (Shore A 9–55)
More than 500 own formulations from Shore A 9 to 55, e.g. for mould making, food, dental and orthopaedics.
