About Silenos Energy
Silenos Energy is an energy company specialized in geothermal energy, headquartered in Garching an der Alz in Bavaria. The company develops, builds and operates geothermal facilities for power and heat generation and supplies customers in Garching with sustainable heat through its district heating network. A milestone was the successful construction and commissioning of the Garching/Alz geothermal plant; an agreement was reached with Stadtwerke München (SWM) under which they will take on technical operational management tasks of the future geothermal power plant. Further projects are Garching/Alz and Gauting. Business activities also include the operation of district heating networks and the initiative 'Heat Transition through Geothermal Energy'.
