About silwy®
silwy® develops and produces magnetic everyday helpers such as magnetic glasses, magnetic cups, magnetic tableware, magnetic hooks, magnetic lights, kitchen roll holders, phone holders and spice jars. The patented magnetic system allows products to be securely attached to metallic surfaces – with the aim of enabling space-saving storage and organisation in vans, boats, motorhomes and in the home. Production and silwy® warehouse logistics are combined under one roof on approx. 2,600 square metres at the Hutthurm site in the Bavarian Forest; according to the company, the products are handmade in Germany. More than 60 employees belong to the team. Known collaborations exist with Schott Zwiesel (magnetic crystal glasses) and sompex. The magnetic light SPOTY was awarded the German Innovation Award 2026. The target industries are camping and outdoor, boating/maritime, vans and motorhomes, and homewares and kitchen.
