About Simba Dickie Group
SIMBA-DICKIE-GROUP GmbH is a family-owned toy company headquartered in Fürth, founded in 1982 as Simba Toys by Fritz and Michael Sieber and shaped into today's group in 1993 through the acquisition of the Dickie Group. The group develops and produces a portfolio of more than 4,000 items: plastic toys such as the BIG Bobby Car (in-house injection moulding production in Burghaslach), zinc die-cast models (Jada Toys, Majorette, Schuco), wooden toys (Eichhorn), board games (Noris, Zoch) as well as plush and dolls. In-house production takes place at specialised sites in Germany, France and other European countries as well as in Asia. Product testing is carried out by TÜV and accredited test institutes; among other things, there are FSC and PEFC certifications in the wood segment as well as an ISO 50001 certification at Smoby Toys. With around 2,600 employees worldwide and revenue of approximately €711.7 million (2024), the group supplies more than 100 countries; over 70% of revenue is generated in international business.
