SIMOL Technologie GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bad Urach, is the German sales partner of the Romanian S.C. Prodmetal I&S S.R.L., with production in Sibiu/Hermannstadt. The range of services covers the design, manufacture and further processing of punched, laser-cut, bent, turned and deep-drawn parts made of steel, stainless steel and aluminium up to a material thickness of 4 mm. The processes range from fiber laser cutting, punch-nibbling, CNC bending and plasma cutting to deep drawing and CNC turning, through to solvent-free powder coating. As an outsourcing specialist, the company takes over existing product series, optimizes costs and production processes, and supports customers through market launches up to production-ready implementation. Digital manufacturing with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, AMADA VPSS 3i and ESPRIT EDGE ensures seamless processes from design to production. The production site in Sibiu, a family-owned company with over 30 years of experience in sheet metal processing, covers up to 25% of its energy needs from its own photovoltaic system.
