Sindlhauser Materials GmbH, based in Kempten (Allgäu), has been a manufacturer and supplier of materials for vacuum coating since 1995. The company produces sputter targets made of metals, alloys, precious metals, rare earths, oxide and non-oxide ceramics as well as special materials, in planar form and as rotary targets according to drawing. Production is carried out depending on the material requirements by vacuum melting, sintering, hot pressing, hot isostatic pressing (HIP) or high-temperature sintering; in addition, targets are bonded (indium, SnAg, Nanofoil®, adhesive) and metal-ceramic compounds are soldered. The portfolio also includes LaB6 ceramics and cathodes, suspensions, granulates and evaporation materials, tungsten, tantalum and molybdenum components as well as ceramic engineering materials and vacuum pump oils. Services include consulting, target design, quality inspection with documentation, ultrasonic measurement technology, X-ray diffraction, packaging, transport and recycling.
