SINUS Messtechnik GmbH was founded in 1990 and develops and manufactures measurement systems for sound and vibration analysis at its Leipzig site, including Class 1 sound level meters with PTB type approval, multi-channel measurement and monitoring systems, acoustic cameras, and measurement software. As an electronics service provider, the company also offers OEM development and manufacturing of electronic circuit boards for medium-sized industrial companies: from product definition through circuit and PCB design to series production and final inspection. Assembly is carried out in SMD, THT and BGA technology on MYDATA fully automatic pick-and-place machines (up to 40,000 components per hour) and Royonic THT semi-automatic machines for board sizes up to 250 x 450 mm, using lead-free (RoHS) or leaded soldering technology. In addition, SINUS offers CNC machining (milling, drilling, turning), mechanical prototyping, design of test fixtures, as well as a test laboratory for climatic, mechanical and EMC tests and sound power measurements according to ISO standards. Customers include those from occupational safety, environmental noise monitoring, building acoustics, the automotive industry/NVH, mechanical engineering, materials testing and research.

Quality and Testing
The assemblies undergo incoming test, in-circuit test, thermal cycling tests in the climate chamber and automatic functional testing. An in-house test laboratory for climatic, mechanical and EMC tests monitors quality; traceability is ensured via barcode serial numbers on each circuit board.
