About Sirah Lasertechnik

Sirah Lasertechnik is a private company founded in 1998 and based in Grevenbroich (Germany), specializing in the development and manufacture of tunable lasers for scientific applications. The product portfolio includes nanosecond-pulsed dye lasers and flashlamp-pumped Nd:YAG lasers, narrowband CW ring dye and Ti:Sa lasers as well as high-repetition-rate dye and Ti:Sa lasers. The lasers are developed, designed and manufactured at the Grevenbroich site. The mechanical components, including turned and milled parts up to a size of 1000 mm, are mostly produced at the sister company Sirah Polska, founded in 2006, in Chrosty (Poland) from aluminium, stainless steel, brass and plastics. Customers include research institutions such as the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig, whose group led by Dr. Peik observed the nuclear thorium transition at 148.3821 nm for the first time in 2024. Applications lie primarily in atomic and molecular spectroscopy.
