About SIRO
SIRO is an Austrian family business founded in 1948 by Franz Sikora in Ternberg and a leading manufacturer of decorative furniture fittings. At the headquarters in Ternberg (Upper Austria), ornamental fittings are made from plastic, zinc die casting, brass and wood; the range comprises more than 3,000 stock items. In addition to the fittings, the company offers tool and mould making as a service through SIRO Kunststofftechnik: from product development and CAD design (PTC, TOP Solid) to the design and manufacture of stamping and bending tools as well as injection moulding and die casting moulds with mould sizes up to 600 x 1000 mm. Technical plastic parts and prototypes as well as small and launch series are produced on ten in-house injection moulding machines (clamping force 60–320 t, shot weight up to 720 g). Plant II in Dürnbach serves as a warehouse; in Bielsko (Poland) SIRO produces turned parts from FSC-certified woods. Customers come from the furniture industry, the caravan and motorhome sector, shipping and the plastics industry; the company is active in over 50 countries.
