Siteco GmbH, headquartered in Traunreut, develops and produces luminaires and lighting solutions for industry, office, municipalities, retail, sports & event and tunnels. Founded in 1862 as part of Siemens & Halske, the company manufactures its products entirely in Traunreut, including its own electronics production in which LED modules are, according to the manufacturer, usually completed within two days of order receipt. The factory site covers around twelve football pitches and houses the entire value chain, from the Technology and Design Center through production to the company's own luminaire test line. A customization team has realized more than 800,000 special luminaires in over 1,000 projects. In addition to luminaires, SITECO offers control and light management systems (SITECO Connect), lighting design, project management, installation, commissioning as well as maintenance and service. Reference projects include the Siemens Campus, the Landshut District Office and the Olympic Stadium Helsinki. After several changes of ownership (including Osram), the company has belonged to Stern Stewart Industries since 2019 and is organized as an independent mid-sized company.

Quality

From the individual LED to the complete luminaire, all elements undergo quality inspections. On the in-house test line, luminaires are tested under extreme conditions, including protection against dust, water and impacts; environmental and quality management systems are certified.
