About SIVONIC
SIVONIC GmbH, based in Barleben near Magdeburg, is a family-owned company with over two decades of expertise in the development, manufacture and distribution of Electrochemical Impedance Spectrometers (EIS). The products cover a broad spectrum: from the smallest impedances in the microohm range, such as those occurring in fuel cells (PEM, SOFC) and electrolysis cells (AEL, AEM, PEM, SOEC), to high-voltage test environments with voltages up to 1,000 V and DC currents up to 5,000 A. Measurement is performed under load, i.e. under real operating conditions. In addition to the single- and multichannel EIS meter, SIVONIC offers an accessory portfolio with calibration standards, measurement cables, adapters and holders as well as customer-specific accessory solutions. The systems are used in research, development, production (end-of-line quality control) and for online monitoring of fuel cell and electrolysis systems during operation, including degradation detection. Further applications include the investigation of corrosion and coatings as well as quality control in the SOFC sintering process. The company maintains cooperations with universities and research institutions and supplies customers worldwide.
